Significance and Rationale of the Event: The Banana Beach Bridge stands for the continuing commitment of Hijo Resources Corporation to sustainable development. It is a symbol that connects the wide gap between the affluence of progress with social responsibility. By standing on the bridge and simultaneously crossing the same, the participants intend to convey the message that progress can be achieved together with preservation of the environment and maintaining mutual respect for others’ rights.
